50-Year Cap, 50-Year Roof

We use only GAF hip and ridge caps that match the shingles’ colour and 50-year lifespan. Unlike cut-up 3-tab shingles, our caps ensure your roof looks great and lasts as long as it should.

Staircase vs. Racking

We never install laminate roof shingles in a racking pattern, as it can cause blending issues and visible rectangular patterns on your roof. Instead, we use the staircase method to ensure a seamless look.

Nailed Right Every Time

While manufacturer specifications call for four nails on a low slope and six on a steep slope or in high wind areas, we always use six nails for every installation. We place them right on the nail line, not in the seams, for maximum durability.

No More Blow-Offs

Starter strip shingles are essential. Before, roofers used to turn a shingle around and use the top side as the starter. We use GAF starter strip shingles for eaves / gables for a sealing and a wind warranty (210 km/h).

Straight and True

Chalk lines are the quickest way to mark straight guidelines on flat surfaces. Without them, your new roof could end up looking wavy. We use chalk lines for all capping and valleys. We use a chalk line for roofs over 40 feet to mark our first course of starters, ensuring straight shingles every time.

Thorough and Reliable

Many companies install a roof and never return. Our first inspection happens right after installation to check for adhesion and cleanliness. We then schedule a 6-month follow-up to ensure nothing has come loose. With winds reaching over 100 km/h three years in a row, you can never be too careful.
